Beyond the Diag

Beyond the Diag is UM’s off campus housing program within the Dean of Students Office. Beyond the Diag was developed to improve off-campus safety resources, communication, and education for UM students. 

Common Ground

Common Ground is a 24-hour crisis services agency dedicated to helping youths, adults and families in crisis. Through its crisis line and in person, Common Ground provides professional and compassionate service to more than 80,000 people a year.

Community Provider Database

This service has been developed by the Mental Health Work Group at the University of Michigan – a collective effort devoted to the mental health of UM students.  Use this resource to search for private mental health care providers in the Ann Arbor area.

Joy.ai

Joy is a digital friend that is always available to listen, offer advice and provide support your journey towards becoming a better version of yourself.

Michigan Medicine

Includes the University Hospital and clinics throughout the University of Michigan campuses.

Safehouse Center

24-hour Helpline: 734-995-5444  | Provides support for those impacted by domestic violence or sexual assault. SafeHouse provides free and confidential services for any person victimized that lives or works in Washtenaw County. Services include emergency shelter for those in danger, counseling, legal advocacy, support groups.

St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Behavioral Services

Includes the following programs: Adolescent Partial Hospitalization, Adult Partial Hospitalization, Children & Adolescent Psychiatric Services, Inpatient Psychiatric, Outpatient Chemical Dependency, Outpatient Psychiatric Services, Psychiatric Access, Psychological Testing Services, Sport & Performance Psychology Services, and Women’s Mental Health Services

Washtenaw County Community Support and Treatment Services and Washtenaw County Community Mental Health

Provides mental health services to adults with a severe and persistent mental illness, children with a severe emotional disturbance, and individuals with a developmental disability, residing in the county.
